In addition to developing our AI Image Editor, the Veristage team has recently added more functionality to the Insight AI platform to help book publishers speed up and streamline their day-to-day work.
More book types and targeted analysis: We’ve expanded and updated Insight’s analysis of various book types, to produce improved marketing and sales information for your book’s target audience.
Chapter-level summaries for EPUB: For EPUB uploads, Insight automatically produces chapter-level summaries. This chapter-level information is also available in the AI Chat for deeper dives into the book.
Select an output language: Users can now choose the language in which they’d like the analysis of a book. Insight currently supports output in French, English, German, Italian, and Spanish—with more languages to come. This is great for editorial teams evaluating foreign-language titles and rights teams pitching books to international publishers.
Improved AI Chat: Our chat is where you can interact directly with your books, generate ideas and plans, and refine Insights analysis. We’ve added a few new features that make this even more useful:
- Your chat history now shows which LLM was used to generate each answer
- Save chat content to any document field
- Upload additional files to the chat, like author bios and sales data
- More LLMs to choose from, including GPT 4o, Imagen 2, and Claude Opus
Comp title recommendations: Using your book’s metadata, Insight will suggest several comp titles and return covers, ISBNs, and short descriptions of each. Insight can also make additional recommendations focused on specific categories or custom instructions from you.
Additional dashboard features: We’ve made it easier to add and remove dashboard tiles, including links to tags, shared images, and collections of documents
Tag your books: As publishers load more content into their Insight accounts, we’ve added a tagging system so user groups can organize and find books in the system
More download file formats: Export the content our platform creates about your book in multiple file formats (or talk to us about custom integrations with your existing systems).
