Create PowerPoint Presentations
Create PowerPoint slides based on your book or chapter that include relevant images as well as bulleted points of the main topics, themes, and takeaways in your content. Choose the number of slides and bullet points per slide.
This feature helps you present your books, build reader guides, and offer more supplementary content for textbooks.
Try it: From one of your books, click the Actions button > Document tools > Create Powerpoint. In the pop-up window, give your file a name and select the number of slides and bullet points you want,
Export Images and Descriptions to Excel
If you’re using Insight to create alt text and/or captions for images in your book products, you can now easily export the image thumbnails and all associated content—captions, descriptions, questions (for textbooks)—as an Excel file.
Try it: From one of your books, click the Actions button > Image tools > Export images.
Textbook Upload Type
In addition to uploading textbook content in chapters, we’ve added a Textbook upload type as well so you can generate full-book marketing and sales materials, as well as classifications and other metadata.
For more detailed textbook work—like chapter summaries, generating questions, and creating bulletpoints or PowerPoints—we still recommend uploading your chapters first.
Try it: In the upload screen, select “Textbook” from the “Document Type” selector. Then upload your full textbook into Insight.
Upgrade to Latest GPT 4o Model
We’ve added the latest version of GPT 4o to our AI Chat. This model offers “improved writing capabilities that are now more natural, audience-aware, and tailored to improve relevance and readability.”
Try it: Select GPT 4o in AI Chat to interact with this model.
Character Count
As requested by several customers, Insight includes character count alongside word count in the Metrics tab.
Try it: For newly uploaded books, Insight will automatically generate the character count. For titles already uploaded, click the “Edit” button, scroll down to the character count field, and click the “Regenerate” button.
More Languages: Croatian and Greek
Document translation and the Insight interface are now available in Croatian and Greek. Please let us know if you’d like to work in either of these languages.
