Index Creation (Experimental)
Our AI document tools now include index creation. This tool uses a multi-step process to identify index terms and process them into an index with matching page numbers.
Start by using one of Insight’s existing queries to create your index, or modify the query to meet your specific needs. Then enter a custom page range to be indexed.
Try it: From a document, click Actions > Document tools > Create document index
Expanded Image Capabilities in Chat
Insight’s chat now has enhanced image capabilities. Generate images within your chat conversations; modify images with text prompts; and generate images based on an uploaded reference image.
We will provide additional how-to information and sample use cases soon.
Try it:
- In AI Chat, select GPT 4.1 and click the image button. Upload an image, or select from one of your images already in Insight.
- From an image already in Insight, click the AI Chat button. The image will be automatically added to a new chat conversation.
Updated SEO Keyword Generation
We’ve improved and updated how we generate SEO keywords. This is part of our automatic analysis of books and documents uploaded to the platform. You’ll find the new keywords under the “Marketing” tab.
Try it:
- For newly uploaded books, Insight will automatically generate updated keywords.
- For titles already in the system, click the “Edit” icon next to the SEO keywords field, then click the “Regenerate” button.
Streamlined LLM List in AI Chat
The list of available LLMs in AI Chat now includes only the leading models that can handle a wide variety of complex tasks.
- GPT 4.1 — Latest flagship LLM from OpenAI, better at following instructions and capable of processing more information at a time. Also able to generate and edit images. See above.
- Claude Sonnet 3.7 — Leading model from Anthropic with improved reasoning capabilities and able to handle complex tasks
- Gemini Pro 2.5 — Google’s latest thinking LLM is able to reason across a variety of complex tasks
- Mistral — Versatile and efficient model from Europe-based company
(We’ve removed GPT 4o, GPT mini, Claude Haiku, Gemini Flash, Imagen 3, and DALL-E 3.)
Try it: Head to AI Chat and choose your favorite model from the selector.
Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements
This release includes improved handling of Excel files uploaded into AI Chat, performance updates for our AI tools (scan, adapt, and translate), and various bug fixes across the platform.
