What’s in This Release:
AI Search Tool for Your Books
Go beyond keyword searches and find content by meaning. Our new agentic AI search tool is integrated into AI Chat. It finds books, documents, and specific content in your Insight library based on prompts and questions.
This tool has a complete view of the books, documents, and content available to you in Insight, including the metadata and full text of your books.

Book Keyword Research Tool

Our new book keyword tool in AI Chat is an agentic AI process that helps you see what real readers are searching for on Amazon, and identifies related search terms you can use to market your book.
Read more: Complete guide to using the Book Keyword Tool
This tool gives you a list on actual search terms being used on Amazon that are related to your book, along with search volume, competition, and trends. Use this information to optimize your book’s visibility and reach the right audience.
Try it:
- Go to AI Chat and select GPT 4.1 as your LLM
- Select a book you want to work with
- Ask for keywords for your book (“Recommend some Amazon keywords for my book”)
- Review the data that comes back
- Try one of the pre-defined follow-up prompts to dig deeper, or ask your own questions
Improved Alt Text

We’ve developed a new visual document process which can now recognize and describe charts, tables, and line drawings, in addition to standalone images (like JPGs or PNGs).
You’ll also find a field to add custom instructions for your alt text and descriptions, so you can tailor this content to individual book projects or your publishing house style.
Additionally, Insight offers more customized options for generating alt text and descriptions for these visual elements in your book.
Try it:
- From a book, click Actions > Image tools > Describe images
- Select the options you want in pop-up window
- Add optional custom instructions for writing the alt text and descriptions
Improved Graphic Novel and Picture Book Processing
Our new visual document process also improves Insight’s understanding of comics, graphic novels, and picture books. We can more quickly and efficiently “see” the visual elements of a book and use that information to create improved metadata, editorial analysis, and marketing content.
Try it: Upload a graphic novel or children’s book
User Interface Improvements
You’ll find a few updates and improvements to buttons and tasks across Insight to help you find and organize some of your content.
Delete Alternative Files

We’ve made it easier to delete alternative files generated by our document tools like Translate and Adapt.
Try it:
- Move your cursor over the alternative file you want to delete
- Click the trash can icon that appears
Save Chat Images to a Book

If you generate an image in AI Chat, you have the option to save that image to your “My Images” project or to the images tab of a specific book.
Try it:
- Generate an image in AI Chat
- Below the image, click the image icon
- In the pop-up window: Enter a name for the image file and choose the related book
Project Folder Link from a Book
If you’re viewing a book or document in Insight, we’ve added an easy-to-find link to that document’s project folder.
You’ll find this link on the top right, just below the main navigation.
