Depending on the size of your team and your system requirements, we recommend that our new Insight customers commit to either a three-month or six-month trial period, after which your subscription becomes month-to-month.
The trial period gives your team some time to test Insight, build new AI skills, and explore how AI can support their work. It’s also an ideal time frame for Veristage to configure the system for you based on feedback from your trial users.
Here are some ideas to help you get the most from this trial period.
Select Your Trial Users
During your Insight trial, you’ll start with a small group of users. Consider choosing people who:
- Are interested in learning how to use AI tools
- Have some time/flexibility to test Insight
- Are interested in helping their colleagues learn to work with AI
- Work in a variety of roles and levels of seniority in your organization (editorial, marketing, PR, rights; assistants, managers, directors, executives)
Choose a Point Person
It’s helpful to recruit one of your users to spearhead the Insight trial. This person can coordinate among the trial users and help you use the trial period effectively.
This role might include:
- Setting up benchmarks and goals for the trial period
- Scheduling and moderating calls, internally and with Veristage
- Creating opportunities for users to share and discuss their learnings
- Gathering feedback about Insight and AI
Take Advantage of Training from Veristage
In addition to a growing library of how-to articles about AI and Insight, we offer hands-on training and regular check-ins with our customers.
To get up and running with AI, we recommend that trial users:
- Participate in our platform demos
- Read and try our tips for working with AI
- Look for our emails about new Insight features and how-to guides
- Consider a bi-weekly or monthly Q&A call with Veristage
Collect and Share Experiences
- Create a space (Slack or Teams channel, Google Docs, etc.) where your team can share AI tips and tricks with each other
- Set up regular check-ins among your trial users to discuss how they are using Insight and how it benefits their work
- Gather feedback on ways Veristage can improve and configure the Insight platform to meet your needs
Evaluate Insight and AI
Depending on the size of your company, goals and use cases for AI, and structure of your team, there are many ways to evaluate if Insight is the right AI tool for you. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Make a list of AI use cases you want to test
- Keep track of which Insight features you use most and least
- Gather feedback on how platform can be configured for you
- Share this feedback with Veristage and evaluate how platform configurations improve results
- Near the end of the trial, survey your trial users about their testing
- Recommend how to continue using Insight and AI in your company
Next Steps with Insight
Toward the end of the trial period and your evaluations of Insight, talk to the Veristage team about pricing and options for moving forward. Here are a few things to consider, depending on the size of your team and your goals:
Insight Users:
- Continue with your trial group, on a month-to-month basis
- Add more users to your account
- Set up user groups by imprint
- Consider assigning one or two users to become system admins, with more access and configuration capabilities
Platform Configuration:
- If you are using the shared server, consider if you need a dedicated server and more customization
- Integrate Insight into your existing systems
- Send feedback to Veristage about adding, removing, and customizing various fields in Insight’s analysis
