Insight’s AI Chat can reliably work with your existing images and help you create new images. Below are a few ways to get started.
Generate an Image
- Go to AI Chat in Insight
- Make sure the image generation tool is enabled
- Enter an image generation prompt
Work with an existing image (like a book cover)
- Upload your image to chat:
- Drag and drop the image into the chat window, or
- Click the sources (paperclip) icon and add your image
- Enter your prompt
Tips for better results
- Read our guide to writing image prompts
- Edit an image with follow-up prompts like adding or removing elements or changing colors. Be specific about what you want to change.
- Regenerate the image if you aren’t happy with it (download or save the first image if you don’t want to lose it)
- Ask AI to help you write an image prompt:
- Paste your existing prompt into a new AI chat conversation.
- Describe what’s not working with this prompt and ask the AI to help you improve it.
- Specify an aspect ratio: Add an aspect ratio to the end of your prompt to get images that are square (1:1), horizontal (16:9), or portrait (3:4).
